Fay Fishman believes in one on one representation of people in the Social Security system, not the herd mentality which seems to exist in the large local or national Social Security firms. She also has dedicated her legal career to helping people with disabilities. “Every person with a disability has their own unique story. That story impacts who they are, and how the disability affects them. Without taking the time to know the story, it is impossible to give each client the representation they deserve.”
Fay’s dedication to her clients has earned her a local and national reputation. She frequently gives lectures to other attorneys about the Social Security system. She attends impairment related support groups to provide information on the Social Security system. She works with pro bono programs helping those in need. In 2011, she was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Minnesota Federal District Court for her work helping unrepresented applicants in the Federal Court system.
In 2012, she was the CancerLegalLine Volunteer of the Year. She has been named a Social Security “Super Lawyer” for 10 years. Fay’s unique approach to representing Social Security applicants provides legal services with strong legal training and technique, and a compassionate heart.
